As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we rely on revenues from our summer Yard Sales, Bellaire Farmers Market vendor fees, Community Center rentals, memberships, memorials, and donations in order to continue providing programs and events for community members of Antrim County!
Bellaire and Antrim County
Area Seniors, Inc. (ASI Community Center & Park) formed in 1994 and became a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization in 1995 interested in promoting the well-being of senior citizens in Antrim County. The goal of building a Senior Center in Bellaire was realized in 1997. Area Seniors, Inc. maintained the Senior Center for 12 years through fund-raising and donations before turning it over to the local townships. ASI maintained ownership of the property behind the COA Senior Center and built the pole barns, pavilion, gazebo, Community Center, back parking lot, two Pickleball courts, walking paths, obtained two billiard tables, and continues to run as a 501(c)3 NON-PROFIT organization.
