Rubber Ducky Festival

Our largest festival of the year featuring a weeklong of events including kid's activities, Rubber Ducky Parade and Race, and live music.

Thirty-nine years ago, Ray Mills decided he was going to put some ducks in the river, we have been doing it ever since and it gets bigger every year.

Twenty-five hundred numbered rubber ducks will be dumped into the river. Tickets are for sale and if your ticket number matches the number on the bottom of the first rubber ducks to cross the finish line. Prizes are awarded to the first 27 ducks.

Friday, Aug 7th

5pm:  Friday Night Car Show Cruise.  Line up at St. Lukes Church.  Depart 6pm

7pm: Cruise ends on Broad Street, downtown Bellaire with live music starring [tbd] brought to you by Fireside Lounge.

Saturday, Aug 8th

8am-10am:  Car Show registration ($20).  On Broad Street / M88.  2pm awards.

6-9p Music in the Streets starring The Ampersands [upbeat dance music] - from Traverse City

Wednesday, Aug 12th - Saturday, Aug 15th

Thursday, Aug 13th 

Starts at 5pm:  Bingo - located at the ASI Community Center

Friday, Aug 14th 

8am - 12pm: Farmers Market & ASI Yard Sale

10am-5pm:  Bellaire Merchant Sidewalk Sales

11am - 3pm: Bellaire Area Historical Museum Open (FREE)

5:30pm: 6th Annual Rubber Duck "Dash" - ducks drop @ North Bridge and end at Riverside Marina.  Winners announced @ Riverside Marina immediately following. 

7pm: Cornhole tournament @ Broad Street ($) - Glacial Hills

8pm: 1 Mile Kid Fun Run - starts Downtown Bellaire @ Broad Street (FREE)

8:30pm:  Duck and Glow 5k Run - starts Downtown Bellaire @ Broad Street - Supports BHS Cross Country ($)

Saturday, Aug 15th 

7:30am: 3V3 basketball tournament - Richardi Park

10am-3pm: "Quackapalooza" a duck party - bounce house, sand art brought to you by STAC "student council"

10am-3pm:  Teen games and dunk tank brought to you by the Chief Golf Course

10am-4pm: Art & Craft Show on Broad Street (FREE)

10am-5pm: Merchant Sidewalk Sales

11am-3pm: Bellaire Area Historical Museum Open (FREE)

2:30pm-4pm: Annual Community BBQ @ River's Edge Ministries - hot dogs & fixins (donation)

3pm: Grand Parade & Rubber Ducky Race - Ducks drop @ North Bridge after the parade & end at Riverside Marina. 

4pm-7pm: Ice Cream Social @ Richardi Park & Live Music at the park starring [tbd] brought to you by the Rotary Club of Bellaire (Donation)
