Riverfest raises funds to protect the Grass River Natural Area

Whether it’s experiencing the beauty of dawn on the river, exploring the northern fen via our accessible boardwalks, or monitoring stream health as part of a class, Grass River Natural Area has something for everyone!”, says Wright. Riverfest raises critical funds to support the work of the GRNA staff to fulfill the mission to protect and preserve the Grass River watershed.

Grass River Natural Area is a 1,502-acre nature preserve surrounding the Grass River, located in the heart of Antrim County. Along with the beautiful views of Grass River, we also offer seven miles of well-maintained trails including 1.5 miles of boardwalk floating above sedge meadows and cedar wetlands. With all these natural features, Grass River Natural Area offers visitors an outdoor, living laboratory to explore and learn.
