Providence Farm Hiring!

Hey farm friends! Three quick details:A. We are hiring for three different positions:1. Farm Store Manager (starting now) 2. Farm store/café Barista/ Clerk (starting now)3. Vegetable In-Take and Packaging (starting June)Full job descriptions available upon request. Email your interest to: [email protected]. The menu was so fantastic last Saturday, that we are doing it again this Saturday, April 20th!(Had so many people who couldn't make it out last Saturday, but really wanted to try the Lamb Birria tacos... AND OH. MY. GOSH. THEY. WERE. FANTASTIC.) We sold out of some items, so rest assured, we ARE making more of everything. The weather doesn't look quite as beautiful as last weekend, but if you're like me, as long as I dress for it, walking the farm in early Spring is a JOY! The steers are curious and fluffy. The cows and ewes are about to burst. We have a big new pond full of ducks & geese. It just feels good.C. I am offering a workshop where we will all learn how to make vegetarian "sushi" rolls next Thursday, April 25th. Maia and I make these a lot. Rolls of fresh spring veggies, combined w/ homemade peanut and other dipping sauces, always has us eating a lot more veggies! All participants will make two rolls each, take home their own bamboo mat, chopsticks, and directions/ recipes. The class is at 1:PM on Thursday. Come hungry! We will be eating. The cost is $50 per participant. ($45 for CSA members.). You need to pre-register for this class.
