Volunteer Museum Docents

Raven Hill Discovery Center is seeking friendly, curious, and dependable volunteers to serve as Museum Docents. Docents play a key role in welcoming visitors and supporting hands‑on learning throughout our campus. Typical responsibilities may include: Greeting visitors and providing general front‑desk assistance Offering informal interpretation of exhibits and spaces Supervising the Animal Room and supporting safe, respectful interactions Assisting with basic collections care, exhibit upkeep, or museum projects Supporting staff with daily operations and special programs as needed Docents do not need prior museum experience—training is provided. We value volunteers who enjoy learning, working with the public, and helping create a welcoming, engaging environment for visitors of all ages.
