My husband and I loved our stay with Jamie and her B&B for our honeymoon! The B&B itself is out in the country in a well-kept farmhouse. It's roughly halfway between Traverse City and Petoskey, providing a great home base for a weekend of exploration in northern Michigan. Our room, the Napa, was cozy and well decorated. We had our own en suite bathroom, a comfortable bed, and many creature comforts (my favorite was the wood fire-mimicking electric fireplace, which I'm currently trying to convince my husband we need). The room and B&B were clean and welcoming. Breakfast was always amazing! I dare you to find better, fresher fare at the trendiest brunch place in your town! They were also filling, setting us up for full mornings of exploration. Jamie can also accommodate special diets; just give her a heads up as she puts great planning and care into her cooking. Jamie also had great restaurant recommendations for the area. If you're looking for a great B&B experiece, the Applesauce Inn is it!
