Antrim County Sheriff's K-9 Program
Helping raise funds toward Sgt. Skyler's future K-9 partner as K-9 Bricko prepares for his well earned retirement.
This year's event is proudly dedicated to K-9 Bricko in recognition of his years of loyal service to Antrim County.
Why This Event Matters...Heroes & Hounds was inspired by our own family's journey. Mark proudly served as a police officer and later became a K-9 handler, where he formed an unforgettable bond with his K-9 partner, Ori. After losing Ori and later welcoming a deaf rescue dog into our family, we experienced firsthand the incredible impact dogs have on our lives, whether they're protecting our communities or waiting for a forever home. That journey inspired us to create an event that honors working K-9s while supporting rescue animals still searching for families of their own. We hope Heroes & Hounds becomes a tradition that brings our community together each year to celebrate service, compassion, and second chances.

Can't Attend? You Can Still Help!
If you're unable to attend but would still like to support Heroes & Hounds, donations may be sent via the Odd Fellow on the Lake (@oddfellowonthelake) Venmo. Please include "Heroes & Hounds" in the memo so we can ensure your donation is directed to the fundraiser. Every dollar raised will be distributed to the Antrim County Sheriff's Office K-9 Program and Help From My Friends Animal Rescue's Pet Crisis Center.
While we won't have adoptable dogs onsite, you'll be able to meet many of the wonderful dogs currently available through Help From My Friends Animal Rescue. Browse their stories, learn about their personalities, and if one steals your heart, we'll help connect you with the rescue after the event.
