Preserving and protecting our waterways in Antrim County and beyond.
Paddle Antrim is a 501(c)3 charitable organization for the primary purposes of supporting efforts to maintain water quality in the rivers, lakes, and streams in Antrim County, Michigan. We invest in the water trail infrastructure and facilitate public access to the waterways in Antrim County. Our goals include promoting public awareness of the waterways in Antrim County and educating the public on the need to preserve and protect these natural resources.
The Paddle Antrim Festival on September 16 & 17, 2016 includes a two-day kayak paddle covering over 40 miles of Northern Michigans Chain of Lakes. This non-competitive event focuses on celebrating and bringing awareness to the waterways of Northern Michigan. Paddlers will be able to register for either one or both days of the paddle event. The festival will conclude with a celebration at Shorts Brewing Companys Production Facility in Elk Rapids. See the Events Calendar for complete event information.
