Until 2009, Antrim County had the highest breast cancer mortality rate in Michigan. Since then, the rate has dropped 36% and we now rank 47th out of 83 counties. Based on current data we can expect 17-19 incidents and 2-4 breast cancer deaths each year. So, while great progress has been made in reducing the mortality rates, we still have a significant challenge in front of us.

Our primary focus is to provide awareness and education about breast health to our community. The Antrim County High Tea for Breast Cancer Prevention also exists to assist all individuals living within Antrim County who are not otherwise covered by public or private medical programs or whose personal financial capabilities would discourage preventative testing are able to get the services needed for Breast Cancer screenings and for fighting breast cancer.

So, if you need help, or advice, help with care or more, please reach out to us. We’re to help!
