This guidebook features cover and section artwork by nationally renowned artist Glenn Wolff, a foreword by award winning Michigan writer Jerry Dennis, plant diagrams by Heather Shaw, and photographs by GRNA Education Director James Dake, The spiral bound book is an easy-to-use guide on wetland plants of the Great Lakes Region. Full color photographs of wetland flowers are organized by seasons: spring, early summer and late summer, along with a step-by-step process for identifying common flowers using a limited number of technical words. Field note pages are included so the user can make notes and sketches to help remember the plants seen on walks. Loaded with resources – including plant lists, diagrams, glossary, seasonal guides, color photos, and checklists – this guide is sure to make wetland walks memorable.
