Description: In this webinar, attendees will learn the basics about Michigan’s universal waste regulations. Attendees will learn why the universal waste regulations exist, what a universal waste is, and how universal waste must be handled and disposed to meet the universal waste partial exemption from hazardous waste regulation. Universal wastes in Michigan include aerosol cans, antifreeze, batteries, Consumer electronics, devices containing elemental mercury, electric lamps, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. Join us to learn how to manage these common waste stream from nearly all businesses, offices, hospitals, schools, etc. and how you can ease your regulatory burden by utilizing the universal waste regulations.
