Paddling Season Kick-Off, post paddle meet-up at the Pull Barn!

Paddle Antrim is excited to announce it will kick off the paddling season with Short’s Brewing Company. Elk Rapids Trail Alliance will join us to celebrate Elk Rapids’ recent designation as a Pure Michigan Trail town.
Schedule of Events:
Meet at Elk Rapids Rotary Park Kayak Launch
4:30-5:00 pm – Drop boats and park – there will be volunteers to help unload boats.
5:00 pm – Brief remarks from Elk Rapids Trail Alliance, Short’s Brewing Company, and Paddle Antrim prior to launching as a group at 5:15 pm.
All paddlers must bring their own craft/boat (SUP, kayak, canoe, etc.. ), paddle and life jacket. As with all Paddle Antrim events, life jackets must be properly worn at all times.
All ages are welcome but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the water.
5:15 pm – Launch as a group for a 1-hour slow paddle on the Elk River.
6:15 pm – Head to Short’s Pull Barn (211 Industrial Park Drive, Elk Rapids, MI 49629)
Discount on beverages (all community paddle participants will get their first pint for $1)
