“For a small town, Bellaire sure has a lot to do!

During the days we love to golf at all of the Shanty Creek courses, and we also hit the Chief for golf and a great sports bar and awesome lunch. We also rent bikes from Paddles and Pedals (Patrick is awesome!), then head to Glacial Hills, which are some the best bike trails I’ve ever seen.

Our evenings usually include some combination of: amazing drinks and appetizers/small plates at Starlight Lounge (the nachos and homemade guacamole are my favs!), a visit to Torch Lake Cellars, which has the best MI made wine I’ve had, amazing views of Lake Bellaire, and fun games (driving range, ping pong, horse shoes, etc.), amazing burgers at Bellaire Bar and we usually finish with great bands and beer at Short’s Brewery!

When family visits, they love to stay downtown at Stone Water’s Inn. Their location can’t be beat, as we’re able to walk to bars and restaurants, and they have a little oasis on the river with a gorgeous patio, gardens, games, and a Jacuzzi!”
